David
This hotel is situated in a very charming village about 10km south of Beaune, making it ideally situated for visiting wine merchants in the area. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with great towels and very comfortable beds. The views from the rooms over the vines are absolutely stunning, especially if you opt for a room with an outdoor balcony or patio. The breakfast spread is delightful, with many homemade items that add a personal touch.
No negative aspects to mention, everything was perfect.

This hotel was charming and cozy. We liked very comfortable room and tasty breakfast. It is only 10km away from Beaune.
The owner was sensitive. She complained about loudness of my children (they were only playing inside the room though) around 8 am in the morning. She said other guests would disturb. I understand if they talked loudly 6 am in the morning, but it was already pass 8 am. Although we apologized to her, she was very cold.

Great breakfast spread with homemade pastries and good coffee. Beautiful countryside setting with scenic walks to nearby vineyards.
The room didn't live up to the pictures on the website. It was old-fashioned and in need of some updating.

Beautiful house with nicely appointed rooms. Delicious breakfast. Lovely peaceful setting in a very pretty village.
Unusual experience with the owner. Very friendly and talkative throughout our stay. However when checking out after our two night visit she behaved in a very odd manner; no eye contact , rudely silent. We were and still are totally puzzled by this strange experience which soured our stay at an otherwise top rate B&B. I also felt it was a bit expensive compared to similar places we stayed on a three week trip to France.

Susan was a very nice, helpful lady. She knows the area inside and out and was always ready with a big choice of suggestions, which was great help. She also put out an impressive breakfast spread and the dining and sitting areas were beautifully decorated and very cosy; you felt you were right at home. Bathrooms were spotless with a variety of pampering products.

This charming hotel is situated in a beautiful location, just off the main square. The nearby vineyards are a sight to behold and the surrounding villages are lovely to explore. The rooms are elegantly designed, with comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, and breathtaking views of the countryside. The breakfasts are delicious and offer a variety of options, including home-made jams, cheeses, and fruit. The friendly staff is very welcoming and attentive to guests' needs, providing excellent service throughout their stay.
Some minor inconveniences may arise due to the limited parking space.

Suzanne, owner, provided us with a warm welcome in perfect English (she is a Canadian by birth), a lovely accomodation, and the most gourmet quality breakfast every morning we have ever had in a B&B. She provided us with recommendations for sights and dinners out, and welcomed us back to rest in the afternoons with a tray containing hot tea, cookies and fresh fruit from her garden. I would rate LaChouette as superior in every way !
